The Compliance Matrix
Understanding Liability and Data Boundaries
Information vs. Advice
Implication: You retain full responsibility for investment decisions. Minveo AG acts as a technology provider and executor, not a fiduciary advisor.
Data Sovereignty
Implication: For EU users, Minveo AG acts as the Data Controller. For US users, we function as a Service Provider under applicable state privacy acts.
Questions Investors Should Ask
Risk Assessment & Liability Boundaries
The legal framework for AI-driven asset management is evolving. Minveo AG evaluates its liability exposure through a "Technology Provider" lens, explicitly separating algorithmic execution from advisory responsibility.
Robustness: Our Terms are drafted to withstand scrutiny under the German BGB (Civil Code) and US Securities Exchange Act interpretations for non-custodial technology platforms. However, market volatility and "black swan" events can trigger software latency or execution slippage.
Limits: Minveo AG’s total liability is capped at the aggregate fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months. We do not cover indirect damages, lost profits, or opportunity costs resulting from algorithmic decision-making or data feed errors.
Verification: We encourage users to verify our regulatory status via the BaFin company register and the SEC’s EDGAR database (where applicable).

- → Binding Arbitration (English language)
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users residing in the United States, specific provisions regarding arbitration may apply as outlined in the "US Supplement" section of the client portal.
